A couple weeks ago my work threw us a baby shower which was awesome. Brandon was able to finally meet most of the people in my lab, and cake and punch are always yummy. We were given lots of the practical things we needed for baby including a highchair, tons of diapers, wipes, a bouncer, a monitor, burp cloths, rattles and everything else you can imagine ever needing for baby. We are so thankful to everyone who could come and celebrate Jacob with us. I was very happy and very pleased to find out that she would be visiting us and that God gave them some semi-decent weather to make it on their trip here. When she arrived she presented us with an amazing quilt that she made and cute cross-stitch that goes fittingly with Jacob's room. We got to spend some good quality time with my mom and even got to show her around town. Here are some pictures of the lights we saw and the pictures we took together at Chesapeake. This one I will dedicate to pictures of some things we received for baby Jake. Including a really nice car seat (thanks Mom and Dad), a semi hand sown custom made alligator to go with the crib set made by my sis, Ariel. It has nifty pockets in the back to hold diapers and wipes. We got a really nice stroller from Grandma &amp; Grandpa Ballowe using the gift card they got us. We also got an awesome glider for baby Jacob to wisp away in dream land from Aunt Lynea. We will be posting some more pic soon of baby room and others gifts. We hope you enjoy.
